1. What Locked In Is
Locked In is an AI-powered planning companion for teens. It generates suggestions, schedules, and plans based on user input. It is NOT a therapeutic, medical, or crisis intervention service. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or mental health care.
2. Not a Therapist
Locked In does not provide mental health services, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or need immediate help, please contact a trusted adult, call a crisis hotline, or go to your nearest emergency room.
3. Privacy
Your conversations and plans are stored locally in your browser's storage and are not sold or shared. We use aggregated, non-identifying analytics (Vercel Analytics) to count page views and product events so we can improve the app. We do not show ads. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
4. AI Limitations
The AI may make mistakes or generate inappropriate content. Plans and suggestions are generated by a large language model (Llama 3.3 70B via Groq) and should be used with common sense. You are responsible for your own decisions. We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated plans.
5. Account & Data
Locked In uses Supabase for authentication (Google OAuth or email/password). Your email and user ID are stored by Supabase to manage your account. Your conversations, plans, and streaks are stored locally in your browser and synced to Supabase for cross-device access. You may delete your data at any time via the settings page. We do not share your data with third parties beyond the essential services listed here.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Locked In after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
